The City of Independence has scheduled a city night at Florence Freedom Ballpark for Monday, August 4th. Game starts at 7:05 p.m. and gates open at 6:05p.m.

On behalf of the Independence Senior Board, I am very pleased to announce that starting on July 14th 2008; the Senior Center will be open on Mondays for our members.
Mondays will be known as our (Wii have fun day). This will be the day we start our Wii Bowling League. The center will be open for other activities, but the primary reason is for the Wii bowlers. League play will start in September.
